CLUB MASS
A fine crowd gathered in the Clubhouse on Friday night last as we celebrated our Annual Club Mass. On the night we remembered the following who had passed on to their eternal rest. Robbie O Brien, Brendan O Brien, John McGillycuddy, Tommy Cronin, Breda Walshe, Jamie Patrick Moynihan Lyne, Kathleen McAuliffe, Billy Kenny, Margaret Crowley, Claire Courtney, Jim O Brien, Catherine McAuliffe, Margaret Lynch, Tony Lawlor, Jerome Lyne, Mairead Healy and Danny O Leary. We must pass on our gratitude to all those who organised the Mass and provided refreshments after . Orla Culloty, Sharon O Grady, Claire Duke, Linda O Donoghue, David Randles, Ted Healy and Donal O Donoghue made sure everything ran off to a tee. We cannot let the occasion pass without thanking our celebrant Fr Mark Moriarty, one of our own, who revealed his own pride at being able to perform his duties on his own home turf. Friday was a day of double celebration as dad Brian received a Honours degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University. Another string to his bow!!
