Congratulations to all the Legion players who helped St Brendan’s College to victory in the final of the Taft Cup. Cian O’Leary, Owen Benson, Eoghan O’Sullivan (captain), Ryan O’Grady and Niall McGillicuddy all started while Jack Corridan, Dion O’Neill and William Shine were also on the panel. Well done, too, to Robert Osborne, Cian Gammell, Barry Slattery, Michael Devlin and Darren Looney who were part of the Sem senior team that defeated Macroom in their latest outing in the Corn uí Mhuirí.

The club would like to pass on its condolences to the family of the late Elizabeth Healy née Looney (Coolies, Muckross) who passed away last Thursday. Daughter Hannah & son-in-law Mike Devlin and their children Daniel, Micheál, Cathal & Áine are all active members with the club while Elizabeth’s other granddaughter Christine has also played for Legion.
