4 out of 4 for Seniors

Well done to Kerry who overcame a stern test in Ennis to qualify for the Munster Final. The club was well represented by Brian Kelly,Jonathan Lyne and man of the match James O Donoghue who registered a handsome 9 points on the scoreboard.
Listry 1-6 Killarney Legion 0-12
The seniors kept their unbeaten run in the county league intact after a 3 point win away to a dogged Listry side.It was very much a ”curate’s egg”performance – at times very good and more times not so.While never really in danger of losing, for the amount of possession they had the margin of victory should have been wider.Still the tricky wind made it difficult for both sides hence the low enough scoring.Jamie O Sullivan was the fulcrum around which the Legion threat lay and he was scorer in chief with a haul of 7pts.to his name. The ever reliable Chris Davies chipped in with two and Billy McGuire,Jack O Neill and Denis Sheahan all hit singles.A converted Listry penalty narrowed the gap to just a goal with 10 minutes left but the response was good and with Danny Sheahan,Ciaran Lyne and the impressive Sean McCarthy all going well they eased to the final whistle to take the two points.
